The Weekender: Concerts, Made in Minnesota, and It’s Time For Halloween
It's Made in Minnesota week, and Halloween week for that matter. The Weekender is full of fun events this weekend from concerts, to Halloween fun for all ages, including the return of The Rocky Horror Show.

Made in Minnesota
River's Edge Convention CenterWith the holiday's fast approaching Made in Minnesota is a great way to get a head start on the holiday shopping season. This event features businesses whose products are made right here in Minnesota. While there be sure to play Minnesota Trivia with The Trivia Ninjas, while enjoying free hotdish samples. Trivia gets underway at 11:00 a.m., and again at 2:00 p.m. There will also be a chance to win a prize from Superior Shores Resort, make Minnesota Art with Art As You Like It, and bounce around with Airmaxx. This is a free event, and fun for all ages.

The Rocky Horror Show
Pioneer Place Main StageRooftop Theatre Compnay will once again be at Pioneer Place with its production of The Rocky Horror Show. Richard O'Brien's tribute to horror B movies and science fiction is a must see. The Rocky Horror Show follows a couple as they get caught in a storm, and introduced to Rocky Horror, the creation of a scientist whose home the couple takes refuge in. Will a twelve person cast, and full band, this is a great way to spend your Halloween weekend. Tickets are $22 for adults, $19 for students and seniors.

Daydream Believers - The Story of the Monkees
Paramount TheatreJustin Ploof and the Throwbacks take you along for the ride of the rise, fall, and re-emergence of The Monkees. Enjoy the best hits from the band, and be ready to learn something that you might have not known before. This concert is sure to bring you back to the times of great music. Fall Fun Fest
River's Edge Convention CenterCome down to the River's Edge Convention Center for Fall Fun Fest. There will be over 100 carnival games, food, puppet shows, and of course everyone's favorite Halloween treat, CANDY. This is a free event for all ages. Non-perishable food donations will be accepted, and donated to local food shelves. This event will be fun for all ages.

A Civil War Portrait
Calvary Community ChurchThe Minnesota Center Chorale presents "A Civil War Portrait." This concert features songs from the Civil War Era featuring music arranged by St. Cloud native Jeffrey Dauma, among many others. Special guests Cristina Seaborn will be playing the fiddle, and Paul Imholte will be playing the hammered dulcimer. They will have a pre-concert conversation beginning at 2:30 p.m about Civil War period instruments. Following the concert you can stop by the information booth to discuss, and learn more about the American Civil War, hosted by the Central Minnesota Civil War Roundtable. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors, $5 for students, and children through 8th grade are free.
