The Weekender: Fill Our Events Calendar With Your Holiday Activities

ST. CLOUD -- We all know there is not shortage of fun and exciting things to do in Central Minnesota this time of year and with all the hustle and bustle of the holiday season we want your help spreading the word.

Each week we provide a list of five things you can do around the St. Cloud area, but we all know there is more than just five things happening any given weekend. So we want you to help us spread the word and tell our audience some fun and entertaining events to check out till the end of 2016.

Here are a few rules for submissions:

1. Events must take place between October through December and be open to the public. Events can be holiday related and range from the arts, musicals, community outings, outdoor events, etc.

2. All events need to be in our listening area and within a few hours driving distance such as Stearns, Sherburne, Meeker, Wright, Benton, Morrison, and Todd counties.

3. Please provide as much information as you can with your submissions such as who, what, where, when, ticket prices, website, and contact information. Submissions can be emailed to Alex Svejkovsky at alex@wjon.com. Please title submissions "The Weekender."

4. If possible please provide a photo with your submission of the event to help our audience better understand what to expect. Photo's can be sent in the form of a JPEG with your email.

We ask to have all submissions by December 1st. We will do our best to make sure every submission gets added to The Weekender report one week or another depending on time sensitive or not.
