    Stearns History Museum

    Grab your cameras and bring you kids to meet Santa this weekend. The Stearns History Museum is hosting their annual KringleFest on Saturday with plenty family friendly events. Kids will be able to make Christmas crafts, tour the museums indoor winter wonderland, live music, holiday treats and of course photo opportunities with Santa. The event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for kids, and free to museum members.

    St Joseph Tree Lighting

    St. Joseph

    Tis the season of Christmas Trees and lights and the city of St. Joseph wants you to join them tomorrow (Friday) as they light up the night sky with their annual Tree Lighting celebration. The tree lighting will take place at the corner of College Avenue and Minnesota Street in St. Joe starting at 6:00 p.m. There will also be craft making, treat bags and of course a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. You can also get out of the cold and enjoy some refreshments at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at 7:30 p.m. The event is free.

    A Mosaic of Joy

    Bethlehem Lutheran Church

    Enjoy the sounds of the season this weekend with the musical stylings of the Great River Chorale. The group will be preforming A Mosaic of Joy at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. The seasonal concert will include holiday carols and readings from the home countries of many residents in Central Minnesota as well as audience sing-along carols. Musical guests the St. Cloud String Quartet, the Cantabile Girls’ Concert Choir, organist Charles Echols, and narrator Brother Paul-Vincent Niebauer, OSB will also be joining them.Tickets for the performance are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors and $5 for students. The show starts at 4:00 p.m. Sunday.

    George Maurer Trio Holiday Show

    Little Falls

    A piano, bass and guitar is all you will need to have some Yuletide fun tomorrow (Friday). The George Maurer Trio will start your season on a playful note with their slightly irreverent, seriously entertaining takes on classic Christmas songs. The Trio consists of Maurer, Muggsy Lauer and Jeff Engholm performing songs the whole family will loves. Tickets for the show are $16 in advance and $20 at the door. Show time starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Great River Arts Center stage in Little Falls.

    GREAT Theatre's A Christmas Story

    Paramount Theatre

    A holiday classic comes to life this weekend at the Paramount Theatre. GREAT Theatre's performance of "A Christmas Story" takes center stage tomorrow (Friday) through Sunday. The story follows young Ralphie Parker on his quest to get a present he desperately wants for Christmas, a A Red Ryder BB gun. However there is a few twists from the holiday movie we have all seen an love. Show times start at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Saturday and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets range from $18-$28.
