The Weekender: Sizzling Summer Art Crawl, Don’t Hug Me, & More
This weekend features the annual Sizzling Summer Art Crawl. All of the artists and businesses will be flooding St. Germain Street. Harper's Chord and Total Monroe will be performing a free concert in celebration of 28 years of friendship between sister cities Little Falls, MN and Le Bourget, France. Finally the Annandale Fiddler's Festival is taking place this weekend.
Friday marks the Sizzling Summer Art Crawl. There are extended hours for this event, enjoy all the art from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Jewelry, paintings, photography, glass art, pottery, rock art, live music, live painting, and street acts are all things you can enjoy on Friday. Music includes Echo Nelson, Kamels, The Coal Cellar, The St. Cloud Area Singing Saints Men's Barbershop Chorus, Telestela, Paul Imholte, Harbor Driver Hookup, Lisa Deguiseppi, Radiant Moon Belly Dance Troupe, and Carnival Revolver. St. Germain Street will be closed from 5th Ave. to 10th Ave. so businesses and artists will be out on the streets with you. This year this is also a punch card you can take with you to all the artists and venues. Once you have the card filled up, turn it back into the information booth to be entered for a prize drawing. The drawing will take place as the crawl comes to an end around 9:00 p.m.
