Yesterday,  Universal Records released their "Icon" series.

The Who and Eric Clapton collections will be available in both single and double disc versions.

The Who's will cover their entire career, all the way through to their 2006 effort "Endless Wire".

Clapton's will showcase his super-group outings with Cream, Blind Faith and Derek and the Dominoes but, curiously, doesn't go beyond 1981's "Another Ticket" regarding his solo work.

The Who's tracklisting goes as follows:

  • Disc 1: "I Can't Explain," "My Generation," "The Kids Are Alright," "Substitute," "Happy Jack," "Pictures Of Lily," "I Can See For Miles," "Magic Bus," "Pinball Wizard," "I'm Free," "The Seeker," and "Won't Get Fooled Again."
  • Disc 2:"Baba O'Riley," "Behind Blue Eyes," "Let's See Action," "Join Together," "5:15," "Love Reign O'er Me," "Squeeze Box," "Who Are You," "You Better You Bet," "Eminence Front," "Real Good Looking Boy," and "It's Not Enough."

Clapton's "Icon" tracklisting:
