Things To Hand Out On Halloween Instead Of Candy

Through an eventual tradition we have found ourselves handing out candy on Halloween but it hasn't always been that way, there are other things to hand out.

Handing out things other than candy is a good way to get toilet papered on Halloween.   If you're going to do it, it doesn't need to be something lame like boxes of raisins. back in the day we used to get a lot of apples but who does that anymore?

Here are some suggestions you can  give out instead.  Experts say these are things  kids will use, so they won't be disappointed.

• Temporary tattoos:  They come in sheets just cut them up and give one or two to each kid.
•  Noisemakers:  Parents probably  won't appreciate.  You can purchase them in bulk at any party store.
• Glow sticks: These help drivers see the kids so they don't get hit by a car.  Even in bulk, they're close to a buck each though.
• Mini packs of pretzels: Healthier than candy plus somewhat cheaper than candy, plus who doesn't like pretzels?
• Small stuffed animals: you can buy them in bulk and they don't give you cavities!
