The Detroit Tigers evened up their series with the Twins with a 7-1 win last night at Comerica Park. The Twins are now 55-70 on the season.

Torii Hunter led the Detroit offense by going 2-5 with two RBI and two runs scored. The Tigers pounded out 13 hits as a team.

The Twins actually led the game 1-0 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning before Detroit scored four runs in the seventh and three in the eighth.

Brian Dozier had the Twins only RBI, a single to score Pedro Florimon in the top of the seventh inning. Minnesota was 1-6 with runners in scoring position.
