MINNEAPOLIS - The Detroit Tigers scored seven runs in the third and held on to defeat the Minnesota Twins 10-6 on Friday night at Target Field.

Twins starter Kevin Correia lasted only 2 1/3 innings, giving up eight runs off of eight hits and two walks.

On offense, Brian Dozier hit his seventh home run of the season in the sixth inning. Jason Kubel also went 3/4 with an RBI in the action.

The Twins fall to 11-11 this season with the loss. They look to bounce back against the Tigers on Saturday. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON with pregame starting at 12:40 p.m.
