The Minnesota Timberwolves (44-33) got a much needed win last night, beating the Dallas Mavericks (23-53) 93-92 to stay in the playoff hunt with just five games left in the regular season.

Jamal Crawford led Minnesota in scoring with 24 points. Karl Anthony-Towns added 21, along with 14 from Jeff Teague and 12 from Taj Gibson.

Jimmy Butler, who has been out since February 23rd with a knee injury has been cleared to return to practice -- and could be back on the court for the Wolves soon.

Minnesota holds the seventh spot in the Western Conference, with the top eight advancing to the playoffs.
