- Stevie Nicks will hit the road next month in support of her most recent solo album, and she’s bringing the Pretenders with her. They’ll launch the tour on Oct. 25 in Phoenix and play more than two dozen shows through Dec. 18, when they’ll wrap up in Los Angeles. You can expect to see them in our own St. Paul on December 6th!
- Daryl Hall and John Oates just received a star on the Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame last week!
- Freddie Mercury would have turned 70 on September 5th - and to honor his birthday the International Astronomical Union’s Minor Planets Center, which is part of the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics has designated an asteroid, 17473 as “Freddiemercury.”
- Last year, Ringo Starr auctioned off his rare copy of the Beatles‘ White Album. It’s now been named the most expensive vinyl record ever sold at auction. It was sold for $790,000.
