The Minnesota Twins beat the Milwaukee Brewers 7-2 Thursday night at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The Twins have now won five straight games and seven of their past nine.

Byron Buxton paced the Minnesota offense with a three hit night and a pair of runs batted in, while Joe Mauer added three hits and a run batted in the win for the Twins.

Dietrich Enns made his MLB debut on the mound for the Twins, lasting 2.1 innings while allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits and one walk. Enns also had an infield single in the game despite the fact he hadn't had an at-bat for over eight years.

The Twins are now 57-56 and trail Tampa Bay and Seattle by just one-half game for the second wild card spot in the American League.

Minnesota's road trip continues Friday night with a game in Detroit. First pitch is slated for 6:10 on AM 1240 WJON.
