MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins got clobbered by the Toronto Blue Jays 9-3 last (Friday) night to push their losing streak to five games.

Starter Tyler Duffey got knocked out of the game in the 6th inning after surrendering six runs on nine hits to drop his record to 1-3 this season.

Four Blue Jays hit home runs: Josh Donaldson with a two-run shot in the 3rd, Jose Bautista with a three-run shot in the 6th, and solo home runs by Michael Saunders and Darwin Barney in the 7th and 8th innings, respectively.

The lone bright spot for the Twins was outfielder Robbie Grossman. The 26-year-old who was called up from AAA Rochester on Thursday accounted for all of Minnesota's offense, going 3-for-4 with a double, home run and a run scored.

With the loss, the Twins fall to a dismal 10-31 on the season. Game three of the four-game series starts at 1:10 p.m. today with Pat Dean (0-1) getting the start for the Twins against J.A. Happ (5-1).
