MINNEAPOLIS - After being swept by Oakland, the Minnesota Twins picked up a big 10-1 bounce-back win over Kansas City on Friday night.

Kyle Gibson finally gave the Twins a desperately needed quality start. Gibson went 6 1/3 innings and allowed only one run off of five hits.

Chris Colabello led the Twins on offense with two hits and three RBI's. Trevor Ploufee also went 3/4 with an RBI in the contest.

The Twins are now 4-6 overall this year. They'll take on the Royals again on Saturday afternoon. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON with pregame at 12:40 p.m.
