The Minnesota Twins (76-73) ended their five game losing streak this afternoon with an 8-1 win over the Los Angeles Angels (76-73) at Target Field. The win evens the Twins with the Angels in the Wild Card race -- with both teams 2.5 games back from the final spot held by Houston.

Minnesota Twins starter Tyler Duffey threw seven scoreless innings, and Torii Hunter, Eddie Rosario and Joe Mauer all hit home runs.

The Twins enter the final 13-game stretch of the regular season Tuesday night against the Cleveland Indians to start a 3-game series at Target Field.
