The Twins were swept in Oakland over the weekend, losing 11-7 on Sunday afternoon. The Twins are now 65-90 on the season with seven games remaining on the schedule.

Oswaldo Arcia led the Twins with three hits and six RBI, including a three run home run. Brian Dozier and Alex Presley each had multi-hit games for Minnesota as well.

Cole DeVries was rocked on the mound for the Twins, allowing six runs on three walks and four hits in just two innings.

Minnesota will host Detroit for a series at Target Field beginning with a 7:10 contest Monday night. Justin Verlander (13-12) will start for Detroit, opposite Minnesota’s Mike Pelfrey.
