The Minnesota Twins added a second veteran starter late Saturday in Phil Hughes, formerly of the New York Yankees. Hughes will reportedly receive a three year contract worth $24 million, according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

The 27-year old righthander is 54-50 in his career with a 4.54 earned run average, but was just 4-14 with a 5.19 ERA last season with New York. Hughes' best season came in 2010 when he was 18-8 with the Yankees.
