The Minnesota Twins (74-68) shutout the Chicago White Sox (67-74) 7-0 this afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field. Kyle Gibson gets the win for the Twins as they continued their season-long success against Chicago All-Star Chris Sale.

Torii Hunter hit his 19th home run of the season and 350th of his career against starter Chris Sale in the first inning. Minnesota starter Kyle Gibson gave up 5 hits and no runs in 7+ innings.

The Twins now return to Target Field for a seven game home stand, starting with a three-game series against the Detroit Tigers -- followed by four against the Anaheim Angels.
