ST. CLOUD - A school and a non-profit in St. Cloud are getting a grant from the Minnesota Vikings and U.S. Bank. The 'U.S. Bank Places to Play" grants have been awarded to Talahi Community School and Catholic Charities.

They are among nine organizations sharing a total of $350,000 for projects that create or renovate parks, playgrounds, and sports facilities in low-to-moderate income communities.

Talahi is improving its playground, and creating a sand table and fossil pit.

Catholic Charities is renovating South Side Community Playground, replacing the deteriorating and outdated structure.

The program was launched in 2015, with the opening of the new U.S. Bank Stadium. The bank and the team are donating $1 million over three years.
