U2 Booked for New ‘Tonight Show’ Premiere

The highly anticipated premiere of The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon will have some huge star power along with it.

It has been announced that U2 is helping Jimmy Fallon kick off the new incarnation of The Tonight Show next month on NBC.

U2 will be there performing their Golden Globe winning song, Ordinary Love from the film, Mandella: A Long Walk to Freedom and promoting their upcoming album, due this spring.

Jimmy Fallon takes over as host of The Tonight Show after spending five years hosting Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. Before that he was a writer and player on Saturday Night Live. Some of my favorite bits of his are Thank You Notes, Audience Suggestion Box, Wheel of Carpet Samples and The Dance Off.

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon premieres February 17.
