U2 had a busy weekend already and yet they somehow made time to make an appearance at a Haiti benefit.

U2 was all over the place this weekend accepting an award for their humanitarian efforts at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, picking up a Golden Globe for Best Original Song in Los Angeles, and they also made time to stop by the Help Haiti Home Benefit in Beverly Hills.

A number of celebrities were on hand for the gala, including new "It" couple, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron.

Not only were U2 out to help save the world, they were there for a shameless plug for their new album, due this spring.
