UPDATE: All Lanes of Westbound I-94 in St. Cloud Now Open
ST. CLOUD - There were no serious injuries, just a lot of headaches, after a crash on Interstate 94 stopped traffic for several hours Monday afternoon. The incident happened shortly after 1:00.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Peterbuilt semi was heading west on I-94 when it rear ended a Kenworth semi. The Kenworth semi was slowing down because of road construction. Another car was also damaged by debris during the crash.
One semi was carrying a concrete mix and the other semi contained fertilizer.
Westbound traffic was backed up for miles, and had to be detoured for about three hours while crews cleared the scene.
