ST. CLOUD – The St. Cloud police department has released a little more information about a pair of shootings that happened last (Tuesday) night, including a description of a pick-up they’re looking for in relation to the second shooting.

First, officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 1300 block of 12th Avenue North at about 5:15 p.m. A 21-year-old St. Cloud man suffered a gunshot wound to his legs.

The Criminal Investigative Unit is working on the case.

No arrests have been made. However, police say there is no threat to the public, as investigators believe it’s an isolated incident.

Also, there were gunshots in the 200 block of 33rd Avenue South just after 7:30 p.m. That incident continued on to Division Street and ended at 22nd Avenue near the SuperAmerica Store. Officers say a boy had been shot twice. He is currently listed in stable condition at St. Cloud Hospital.

The shooting is not a random act, and police say there is no threat to the public.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force is investigating.

They are asking for your help in identifying a vehicle that was seen in the area of the shooting, and they would like to speak to the driver. It’s described as an extended or quad cab pick-up with dual rear wheels, and tan or gray in color. The truck also had wood panel type rails on the back bed.

Police say the two shootings are not connected.

Anyone with information regarding the above incident is urged to contact the St. Cloud Police Department at 320-251-1200, or Tri-County Crimestoppers at 320-255-1301,1-800-255-1301, or at www.tricountycrimestoppers.org

Crime tips can also be texted to Tri-County Crimestoppers.  Enter 274637 (“Crimes”) into the destination box, start your text with TRITIP, enter a space, then type in the tip information.
