UPDATE: Suspect Arrested in Sauk Rapids Hit-and-Run

SAUK RAPIDS --

Police Chief Perry Beise says they received a tip about a black Ford Fusion with similar damage to the vehicle that was hit Saturday at the intersection of Benton Drive and 1st Street South.

Officers determined the vehicle was the one involved in the crash.

31-year-old Christopher Eagle was arrested and taken to the Benton County Jail. He faces gross misdemeanor charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
