The album Them Again certainly had it's share of  R&B covers, however; it also contained some Morrison originals. Essentially it gave us a real good glimpse of the songwriting genius that he was and would soon be a household name.

The song "Hey Girl," is that of a very moody one to say the least, we are serenaded with a very evocative flute backdrop.

Makes us look forward to the future of Morrison and other masterpieces to come and we found that on his albums 'Astral Weeks' and 'Veedon Fleece.'

"Hey Girl" a rather slow tempo song:

"Let's go walking where the boats go by
And watch them sail across the bay
Let me hold your hand in the morning fog
Little child I want to walk your dog

Hey, hey girl
Hey, hey girl
You're so young
I don't know what to do" (Van Morrison)
