VH1 Turns it Up to Eleven Today

In honor of Nigel Tufnel Day, VH1 Classic it turning it up to 11 today. Here's what's in store. 

Technically, VH1 Classic declared it National Metal Day in honor of Nigel Tufnel (from This is Spinal Tap) who, "taught metalheads everywhere how to take it to eleven."

The "music channel" will play the classic rock mockumentary tonight. They will also debut three new programs: Behind the Music Remastered: Megadeth, Metal Evolution Chapter 1: Pre-Metal, and That Metal Show.

Behind the Music will explore what Megadeth is like now as it is being billed as a kind of sequel to the original Megadeth Behind the Music. Metal Evolution explores what the world of metal became thank you to the metal forefathers like Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. That Metal Show will feature visits from the likes of Tracii Guns, Slash and Brian Johnson of AC/DC.
