While there are a bunch of gamers out there who long for the simpler days, even they have to admit that the two-tone soundtracks from classic titles sound incredibly better when played by awesome musical instruments.

In this 10 minute long video (we know, that’s like watching Titanic back to back, but trust us it’s worth it) one dude by the name of Fredde Gredde lays down tracks via guitar and keyboard while another dude hammers the skins.

All in all, 34 tracks from some of the most famous video games in one fluid rock medley. We’re tired just listening to it. Now if only we could download each track separately and play them on our old consoles.
