According to an article on Forbes.com, the Minnesota Vikings are among the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world. Ok, to be completely honest, every NFL team made the list; and at 35th the Vikes are right behind the Cleveland Browns listed at #34.

European soccer teams took the top-three spots, with Real Madrid on top. The New York Yankees came in as the top non-soccer club at #4 on the list. The Dallas Cowboys were the top ranking NFL team at #5, followed by the Patriots at #6. The New York Knicks were the top NBA team at #23. The Toronto Maple Leafs led the NHL at #33.

The Vikings are sandwiched between the Browns at #34 and the Saints at #36.

I know what you're thinking, and the answer is, "No, not by a long-shot." The Twins, Wild, and Timberwolves did not make the list.
