Minnesota Vikings' center Mick Tinglehoff has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, 36 long years after his retirement. Tinglehoff played for the Vikings from 1962 to 1978, and is one of eight players to be enshrined in 2015.

Tinglehoff was undrafted out of Nebraska in 1962 before signing with Minnesota, playing in 240 straight games for the Vikings.

He'll be sworn in on August 8th in Canton, Ohio along with Jerome Bettis, Junior Seau, Tim Brown, Will Shields, Charles Haley, and executives Bill Polian and Ron Wolf.

Mick Tingelhoff's Hall of Fame presenter is rumored to be Fran Tarkenton.
