A 21-18 overtime win by the Minnesota Vikings (6-2) over the St. Louis Rams (4-4) Sunday in Minneapolis was enough to propel the Vikes into a tie with the Packers on top of the NFC North, and into the Top-10 this week in ESPN's NFL Power Rankings. ESPN comments:

The Vikings have won four straight games and are off to their best start since 2009 (when they started 7-1), but their next five opponents are the Raiders, Packers, Falcons, Seahawks and Cardinals.

The biggest riser of the week is the Indianapolis Colts jumping eight spots from #22 to #14. The biggest fall of the week belongs to both the Atlanta Falcons and Cleveland Browns, each plunging fine notches.

The Vikes face the Oakland Raiders Sunday afternoon in California. (And if I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times. It really sucks to be a Lions fan.)

Skol!
