The final day of the NFL preseason sets the Minnesota Vikings in Nashville tonight to face the Tennessee Titans at 7 PM (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: KARE-11). Although preseason records mean nothing, Vikings fans are optimistic after a 3-0 preseason start. The starters are not likely to see much (if any) action tonight.

Earlier this week, Matt Cassel was named the starting quarterback for week-one at St. Louis. Offensive coordinator Norv Turner was quoted this week as saying, "We can be an explosive team!"

The primary function of tonight's game is to help the coaches make the final twenty cuts, getting the roster down to the league mandated 53 players by Saturday.

No injuries please. Skol!
