The Minnesota Vikings (5-2) beat the Chicago Bears (2-5) in the Windy City today for the first time since 2007 by a 23-20 final score -- courtesy of a Blair Walsh field goal as time expired. That's two road wins following a five-game road losing streak for the Vikes. Skol!

Head coach Mike Zimmer was pissed at halftime after the Vikings gave up a last second touchdown to the Bears at the end of the second quarter. According to the broadcast on FOX he said, "We'll see what kind of a team we are in the second half." We did.

It's easy to be a Monday morning QB analyzing this detail and that, but bottom line; regardless of how you feel they've been playing (and 'a touch above mediocre' is my rating), these guys are 5-2, with a pair of back to back divisional road wins.

Teddy looked pretty rough during the first three quarters, but was able to rally in the fourth -- going 17 for 30 in the game for 187 yards with a TD and an interception. Adrian Peterson looked like the A-D of yesteryear, carrying 20 times for 103 yards. Rookie Stefan Diggs caught 6 Bridgewater passes for 95 yards and another big touchdown.

I continue to wonder where Mike Wallace is in 2015.

Next up, the St. Louis Rams -- Sunday at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis at Noon on Sunday, November 8th.

Skol!
