Viking General Manager Rick Spielman says the team has no interest in trading receiver Percy Harvin despite his reported request for trade on Wednesday morning.  Harvin reportedly requested a trade this week from the team for unspecified reasons.  Harvin tweeted Wednesday night that the reason isn’t money related.  Harvin attended the Vikings walk through practice on Wednesday morning but wasn’t at the longer Wednesday afternoon practice.

Today is the final day of the Vikings mandatory mini camp at Winter Park.  Viking head coach Leslie Frazier declined to comment on Harvin’s absence from the afternoon practice and wouldn’t say if he expects Harvin to practice Thursday.  Harvin has 2 years left on his rookie contract and is scheduled to make $915,000 this season.
