The Vikings won 20-13 at Detroit Sunday to improve to 3-1 on the season. Percy Harvin started the game with a 105-yard kickoff return touchdown and Marcus Sherels returned a punt 77-yards for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Blair Walsh made 2 of 3 field goals and Adrian Peterson ran for 102 yards on 21 carries for the Vikings. Christian Ponder was 16-26 for 111 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Jerome Simpson in his first game this season had 4 catches for 50 yards.

The Vikings were outgained in total yardage 341 to 227 by Detroit. The Vikings will host Tennessee next Sunday at 3:25, pregame on WJON at 2:00.
