ST. CLOUD -- A St. Cloud behavioral health center is moving to a new location.

On Monday The Village Family Service Center will be serving clients in their new facility at 110 6th Avenue South, Suite 100 between Perkins and the Ole Brick House in downtown St. Cloud.

Amber Morrighan is the Regional Program Supervisor. She says the move provides more accessibility for their clients.

"We really like the space here is next to the Metro Station so our clients can ride to the main station and then walk around the corner to get to us."

 

The nonprofit serves 850 clients provides counseling, in-home family therapy, addiction treatment, mentoring, financial counseling and an employee assistance program.

Morrighan says the larger space gives them more opportunities for classes, groups and training.

"The space will allow for bringing in some training's and more opportunities for our clients."

 

The move will also allow them to hire additional staff. The office will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday.

The Village was previously located in the Stearns Financial Center.
