Waite Park 13AAA Loses Pool Play Game at World Series

The Waite Park 13AAA team suffered their first loss in the 13AAA Babe Ruth World Series in Kitsap, Washington Sunday 12-2 to Bryant, Arkansas. Joey Atkinson allowed 6 earned runs in 3 innings to take the loss. Atkinson was 2-2 with 1 RBI and Chris Backes was 2-3 with a run scored for the Silverstars.

Waite Park finishes 3-1 in pool play and will begin bracket play against Greenville, North Carolina at 10pm (Central Time) tonight. Track the game here.
