White Christmas On The Way; Winter Weather Advisory Issued
It appears that we could be in store for a white Christmas after all, as the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the St. Cloud area for tonight and tomorrow -- with 3 to 5 inches of snow and strong winds expected.
The advisory goes in to effect at 5 PM this evening, with patch freezing drizzle possible before the switch to all snow. Snow will fall overnight through Wednesday afternoon. Additionally, winds will pick up to 20-25 mph, gusting to 35 tomorrow afternoon causing poor visibilities and snow covered roads.
A Winter Storm Watch is in effect further to the north and west including Fergus Falls and Brainerd.
