Johns worked with the newly formed Led Zeppelin on their debut album of 1969, 'Led Zeppelin', Johns knew without a doubt that a dynamic new sound had been born.

For some apparent reason though he had a hard time trying convincing his superstar friends of that.

"Mick (Jagger) and George (Harrison) openly disliked what they had done, seeing no value in it at all. ln any event, they were perfectly entitled to their opinion, and fortunately  a large portion of the record-buying population disagreed with them" (Glyn Johns).
