I'm a cynical, judgmental guy who's hard to impress when it comes to our over-stimulated world of way-too-hyped entertainment choices. However, yesterday we lost one of my favorites. I'm talking about Tom Magliozzi. Along with his brother Ray, they were 'Click and Clack the Tappet Brothers' on the weekly NPR show Car Talk.

In my humble opinion, Tom & Ray were the simply the best entertainment option on any media; TV, radio, movies, internet, whatever. They were the kings every weekend for one hour on NPR. They were all about car repair. They were nothing about car repair. The were all about life, laughter, and the pursuit of happiness (and car repair).

R.I.P. Tom Magliozzi. I will miss your wit, views, laugh, and take on life. You were great minds. (Sorry Ray, you still are!) If it seems in this post like I know them, it's because that's how they made you feel.

Never listened to 'Car Talk?' It's worth an hour or two (or twenty or 100). WARNING: You will get hooked. The podcast is free HERE.
