Why The New Superman Movie Man of Steel Is Going To Suck: Krypton Is Intact

First of all one of the big rumours on the interwebs is that Supes' home planet of Krypton may NOT be destroyed. Now that's just asinine. It's pretty much the whole basis of the the Superman legend. The planet is dying and blowing up, Jor-El puts baby Kal into the ship and shoots his tiny butt to Earth to save him. But according to some sharp-eyed readers of iO9, who spotted this clue in an EW explanation of the movie, Zod comes to Earth to retrieve Kal-El and bring him back to Krypton. SO that, for all intents and purposes, tells us that Supes' home world is alive and kicking.
