The Minnesota Wild (34-20-7) beat the New York Rangers (27-30-5) 4-1 Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. The win complete's a sweep of Minnesota's three-game road trip.

Earlier in the week the Wild earned wins over the New York Islanders and new Jersey Devils.

Mikael Granlund (16 & 17) and Eric Staal (28 & 29) each scored a pair of goals for the Wild.

The victory keeps Minnesota in third place in the division, six points behind second place Winnipeg; and eight behind division leading Nashville.

NHL Central Division Standings

The Wild host the San Jose Sharks tomorrow night at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. The puck drops at 7 PM (TV: Fox Sports North Plus, Radio: 1390 KXSS).
