Last night was a must win for the Minnesota Wild and what did they do?  The won, that's what they did - what a great game!

The game last night seemed to be a defensive battle, very few shots taken between both Chicago and Minnesota and the game was tense.  Well at least for me.  The announcers said that Chicago was something like 6-0 when scoring first in their playoff games, so naturally I was hoping the Wild would get the first goal.

The game was so tight the crowd was virtually take out, which did not favor us.  If we are going to beat this team we NEED to win at home, and to do that we need the crowd.  Luckily we did get the first, the second, the third, and the fourth goal of the game to kick the crap out of this Blackhawks team.  And the crowd was INSANE!

Here's the skinny on the scoring last night.  All goals came in the third period, with Erik Haula getting on the board first.  Mikael Granlund scored next with a nice back-handed shot, then Zach Parise got on the board to make it 3-0.  With the net empty Mikael Granlund got his second of the game by a unselfish feed from Nino Niederreiter.

The Wild once again make this is series at 2-1 and will play again in St Paul on Friday.  For a complete recap check out Wild.com
