The Minnesota Wild (44-25-7) moved into third place in the NHL's Central Division with their 4-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings (37-24-14) last night at the Xcel Energy Center. The Wild have now won five straight, and goaltender Devan Dubnyk improves to 26-6-1 since joining the team.

Nino Niederreiter scored two goals and goaltender Devan Dubnyk made 31 saves in the win.

The top-three teams in each division advance to the playoffs, whe next two best records in each conference qualifying as Wild Card teams. Chicago and Winnipeg currently hold the Wild Card spots in the West.
