The Minnesota Wild are in Glendale, Arizona Thursday night for a key matchup with the Phoenix Coyotes (7:30, AM 1390 The Fan).

The Wild and Coyotes each have 51 points and are tied for eighth place in the Western Conference, although the Wild have played three more games than Phoenix.

The Wild are 23-17-5 this season and have won three games in a row following a franchise record six game losing skid. Minnesota beat the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 Tuesday night in a shootout at Staples Center.

The Coyotes are 21-12-9 this year and most recently destroyed the Calgary Flames 6-0 Tuesday night.
