The Wild are still winless this season after a 3-2 loss at Nashville Tuesday night. The game took nearly three hours to finish.

Minnesota struck first with Zach Parise’s power play goal at 4:05 of the first period, assisted by Mikko Koivu and Ryan Suter.

The Predators scored back-to-back power play goals in the first period just forty seconds apart, followed by an Eric Nystrom even strength goal on a penalty shot that made the score 3-1 after one period.

The Wild earned the second period’s lone tally when Jared Spurgeon scored on a power play at 7:26. Neither team scored in the third period.

Niklas Backstrom was injured halfway through the first period and was replaced by Josh Harding.
