The Minnesota Wild topped the Winnipeg Jets 1-0 Monday night in Winnipeg. The Wild essentially clinched a playoff spot with the win.

Charlie Coyle scored the game’s only goal for Minnesota 1:05 into the second period at even strength, assisted by Mikko Koivu and Zach Parise.  Ilya Bryzgalov earned his second straight shutout for Minnesota with 24 saves to improve to 6-0-3 with the Wild since being traded from Edmonton.

The Wild host the Bruins Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center (6:30, AM 1390).
