The Minnesota Wild (42-25-7) scored the only goal in the shootout, sneaking past the New York Islanders (44-25-5) 2-1 last night on Long Island -- their tenth straight road win. Zach Parise scored in the third period and in the shootout for the Wild.

Devan Dubnyk made 37 saves and three in the shootout in his 33rd straight start for Minnesota who retain the top Wild Card spot in the West, three points ahead of Winnipeg, and just three points behind 3rd place Chicago -- with just eight games left in the regular season.

Next up for the Wild; Friday night at home against the Calgary Flames at 7 PM (Radio: 1240 WJON, TV: FSN+).
