ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota Wild completed a trade to send goalie Niklas Backstrom to the Calgary Flames for veteran wing David Jones.

The 38-year-old Backstrom owns the franchise record for career wins with 194 and single-season records for wins (37) and shutouts (8).
