From the National Weather Service this evening: Snow will gradually diminish across the region today. The highest accumulation will occur from west central through northeast Minnesota. Dry weather along with some sunshine will cover the area on Sunday. A storm system currently in the southwestern United States will advance to Texas on Sunday. This weather system will lift northward to Wisconsin by early Tuesday and has the potential for bringing significant accumulating snow to parts of the region from Monday afternoon into Tuesday. There remains uncertainty with the exact track of this weather system. If the system were to move a little farther west of the current thinking, then the heavier snow would be more over Minnesota. Those traveling early next week should monitor later forecasts.
