The Minnesota Timberwolves game Wednesday night against the San Antonio Spurs in Mexico City was postponed indefinitely when smoke clouded the arena. No official word was given for the thick haze, and reports ranged from smoke following an escalator fire to a fire retardant used to put out the blaze.

Players were led off the court as smoke filled the inner-arena during warmups. The game was postponed after a 45 minute delay.

The NBA announced the game will be made up later this season at Target Center.
