The Minnesota Timberwolves erased a large fourth quarter deficit Monday night in Cleveland but fell one point short in a 93-92 loss to the Cavs. Kevin Love's three pointer with three seconds remaining in the fourth quarter rimmed out to end the game.

The Wolves were a bit sluggish on offense for much of the night as they were playing on back-to-back nights for the first time this season. They trailed for nearly the entire game, and by as many as 23 points and 15 in the fourth quarter.

Minnesota went on a 17-2 run to finish the game, but Love's three pointer on a broken play missed and sent the Wolves to their first loss of the season.

Kevin Martin led Minnesota with 23 points and shot 5-8 from three-point range. His T-Wolf teammates, however, shot a remarkable 0-20 from downtown.

Minnesota hosts the Warriors Wednesday night at Target Center (6:30, WJON).
